Hoop Squawk Media, LLC ("Hoop Squawk", "we", "us") provides fantasy basketball alerts and advice by text message. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Your mobile phone number and a record of your SMS consent.
• Your alert preferences, volume setting and any players you ask us to watch.
• Messages you send us and messages we send you.
• Short notes about your leagues (such as league size, scoring format and platform) so replies can take your situation into account.
• Your approximate timezone, inferred from your area code or set by you.
• Subscription status. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your card details.

How we use it

To deliver and personalize your alerts, answer your texts, time messages for your timezone, handle billing and support, keep the service reliable and prevent abuse. We do not sell your information or your messages.

AI processing

Alerts and replies are generated with AI. Your messages and relevant account context are processed by our AI provider to produce responses, under terms that do not allow that data to be used to train their models. Public web content we monitor is processed the same way to produce alerts.

SMS consent is never shared

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services necessary to deliver messages.

Stopping messages

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Stopping texts does not by itself cancel a paid subscription; see our Terms of Service.

Service providers

We use providers for SMS delivery, payments, AI processing, database hosting and website hosting. Each receives only the data required to perform its function.

Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed for billing, legal and security purposes. To request deletion, email support@hoopsquawk.com.

Children

Hoop Squawk is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
